Mark Casillas

Mark is a passionate fundraising professional who provides crucial support to the revenue team such as drafting grant proposals and reports, preparing fundraising pitches, data management, and working to further develop the organization’s revenue systems. A Southeast Los Angeles native, his own upbringing, personal values, and lived experiences have all drawn him to Common Future and he holds a strong commitment to our values and principles.

Previously, Mark has worked with California-based organizations in different capacities including LIFT- Los Angeles, CalMatters, and the Latino Media Collaborative. He also served a year-long term with the AmeriCorps VISTA program volunteering at the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center.

Mark has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Gettysburg College, where he remains an active alum today. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, playing video games, and cheering on his favorite LA sports teams from afar. He currently resides in Dallas, TX.
