About Yanique

Yanique is the president and CEO of the Consumer Health Foundation, a private foundation in Washington, DC. Prior to joining CHF, Yanique was a senior associate at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Before that, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and directed a community-based research initiative in Atlanta. This work included a pilot project to provide community-based mental health services and a campaign to mitigate the impact of the built environment on mental health. She is on the board of the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers and is active in the Community Wealth Building Initiative. In 2012, she was named a Terrance Keenan Institute Emerging Leader in Health Philanthropy by Grantmakers in Health. Yanique has degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology (BS) and University of Michigan School of Public Health (PhD, MPH).
