About Tim

Tim Lampkin is the CEO of Higher Purpose Co., a nonprofit social impact agency based in Clarksdale, MS building community wealth in the Northwest Region of the Mississippi Delta by focusing on small business development, strategic real estate investing, and social enterprise initiatives. He previously worked as a Community Development Officer for Southern Bancorp Community Partners (SBCP) where he helped secure over a million dollars for various community projects in Coahoma County. Prior to his role at SBCP, he worked with the DEBTS Program at Delta State University to support entrepreneurs. Lampkin has a B.S. in Business Administration from Mississippi Valley State University, MBA from Delta State University, and a M.S. in Organizational Performance from Bellevue University. He is currently completing his Doctorate of Education at the University of Arkansas.
