About Stephanie

Stephanie Gutierrez is Co-Founder of Hope Nation LLC located in St. Louis, MO. Prior to her role as consultant, she worked for Thunder Valley Community Development Corporation located on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Here she further developed the Social Enterprise Program, expanding on their community wealth building work through research, feasibility studies and business plan development. Prior, she worked in nonprofit and academic positions of executive level management and student support. Serving as Interim Director of the Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies, she represented Washington University in American Indian related activities with tribal, federal and national organizations as well as community and outreach efforts across the nation. Stephanie is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University and a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University.
