About Sara

Sara Dent is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Young Agrarians, a network for new and young ecological farmers in Canada. Sara has a background in small-scale, organic farming and food systems design. She has 20 years experience working with youth, arts and social change organizations. Sara has a degree in Communication Studies and Liberal Arts from Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec), as well as training as a health coach, facilitator and permaculture educator. She loves taking photos, singing and working with land and food. Sara currently resides on Tla’amin Territory in Powell River, B.C.
