About Jessica

Jessica oversees the foundation’s strategic initiatives, special projects, and public affairs. Among projects she has led are the Rhode Island Innovation Fellowships, a program that develops, tests, and implements innovative ideas to improve any area of life in Rhode Island, and Make It Happen RI, an effort initiated in 2012 to improve the state’s economy. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2006, Jessica served as interim director of HousingWorks RI, a campaign to end the state’s shortage of affordable housing. Jessica earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from American University and a Master of Business Administration from Bryant University. Among the recognition she has earned for her community leadership, Jessica was named by Providence Business News as a 40 Under Forty in 2011 and a Woman to Watch in 2012.
