About Jess

Jess Daniel Hart is a program developer and organizational process designer focused on initiatives that enable people to grow their souls, grow their skills, and work together joyfully to steward a better world into being. Most recently, she was Managing Director at Common Future (formerly BALLE). Prior to that, she founded FoodLab, a network of good food entrepreneurs in Detroit. She has more than a dozen years of experience as an intra- and entrepreneur, proposing, launching, and improving initiatives for diverse clients like Google, World Education, the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition, the On Being Project, and Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice. She has special love for work focused on transformative leadership, restorative economics, food and agriculture, and spirituality. She splits time between her home in Minneapolis and her birthplace in Southern California, where she can be found climbing, hiking, skiing, gardening, cooking, and hanging with her sweet nieces and nephews.
