About Chelsea

Chelsea Bardot Lewis manages the community investments program at Vermont Community Foundation, a statewide foundation headquartered in Middlebury. A member of the Grants and Community Investments team, Chelsea also consults on grantmaking strategy and is the Foundation’s representative to the High Meadows Fund, a supporting organization focused on land use, farm and forest enterprise and energy. Before joining the VCF, Chelsea led the Business Development section at the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, working with food, farm and forest sector businesses on access to capital and market development. She was acknowledged as a Rising Star by Vermont Business Magazine in 2016, and a recipient of the Vermont Public Service Recognition for outstanding state employees. She has an active yoga practice and an overly ambitious (and chronically weedy) garden. She is a graduate of Tufts University – twice-over – most recently with a masters in Agricultural Policy.
