About Brittney

Brittney Gaspari serves as Vice President, Community Investment at The Winston-Salem Foundation, a community foundation serving Forsyth County, NC. Brittney joined the Foundation in 2004 as a program officer and served as Director of Community Grants from 2007-2016. In her current role, Brittney led a strategic shift in the Foundation’s community investments into two focus areas: Advancing Equity in Education and Building an Inclusive Economy. This shift also incorporated new tools into the Foundation’s community investment work, including an explicit racial equity lens, participatory grantmaking, and mission-aligned investing. This mission-aligned investing work led her to Common Future and the 2018 Foundation Circle. Brittney lives with her husband, two kids, and three feisty poodles: Kevin, Tiny, and Ruby Mae.
